When it comes right down to it, your home is only as good as its front door.
It gives a clear message to the outside world of who you are and what you stand for. The design, state of repair and the colour are vitally important.
- Always make sure your door fits the era and architectural style of your home.
- If possible install some bright lights either side of the doorway to lift the energy of the entrance or if not possible above the door.
- Buy some trees i.e bay trees for either side of the door to give your entrance a little more impact.
- Choose a colour that compliments your house. For me, the best quality exterior paint has to be Farrow and Ball.
