Our Studio
Founded by Nikki Deakin in 2016, ND Interior Design is a boutique design studio creating timeless, considered and liveable interiors across the UK.
From individual rooms to full home renovations, commercial spaces and property staging, every project begins with understanding our clients and how they want to live or work. We bring together creative design, practical planning and a trusted team to turn those ideas into beautifully finished spaces.
In 2025, we opened ND Studios at The Old Bay Tree in Melbourne, Derbyshire. Our welcoming studio offers a place to meet with us, explore ideas, view materials and finishes, and experience our approach to design firsthand. Visits are by appointment.

At ND Interior Design, we offer a personal and flexible service, shaped around each client and their project. Lasting relationships are at the heart of our work, and many clients return to us as their homes and needs evolve. We combine creativity, practical thinking and attention to detail to create spaces that reflect the people who use them.
Founder Nikki Deakin leads the creative vision, working closely with a trusted network of contractors, suppliers and skilled craftspeople to bring each design to life. Our approach balances timeless, considered interiors with the practical demands of everyday living.
Together, we deliver bespoke interior and exterior schemes, interior architecture, renovations, developments and property staging, with thoughtful design and careful coordination from the first ideas through to the finishing touches.

Nikki Deakin
Founder & Creative Director
Nikki trained at KLC School of Design and the Interior Design Institute before founding ND Interior Design in 2016. Since then, she has worked on a wide range of projects, from individual rooms and family homes to luxury residential properties, developments and show homes across the UK and Europe.
Known for her creativity and relaxed, approachable manner, Nikki takes time to understand each client’s personality, preferences and everyday needs, alongside the character of their property. Her designs bring together thoughtful layouts, layered textures and carefully chosen details to create interiors that feel personal, timeless and comfortable to live in.
